These CDs contain a wealth of good articles, debates, etc. from a number of outstanding gospel preachers and teachers from years past.

This CD contains every article from every issue of the first ten volumes of the Preceptor, from November 1951 through October 1961.

The early years of the Preceptor contain some of the finest writings of modern times. The Preceptor began publication in November, 1951. A number of important issues were confronting the church during the early years of publication. The pages of the Preceptor were open to all for honest investigation of these issues.

Much good can be gained today by studying these clear and forceful articles from days past.

In addition to articles dealing with controversy, many other "faith-building" articles are found in every issue.

Contains all of the issues of Vanguard published, which was from January 1975 through December 1984.

Fanning Yater Tant served as editor of the Vanguard - known as "A Journal for Growing Christians" - throughout the duration of publication. Publication began on a twice-monthly basis. In the second year, only twelve issues were published. In the fourth year, twenty-three issues were published. In the fifth year, fifteen issues were published. Thereafter, twelve issues per year were published for the duration of the journal. Writers such as Homer Hailey, Robert Farish, Robert Turner, Clinton Hamilton, L.A. Mott, Jr., Harry Pickup, Jr., Jefferson David Tant were regular contributors to the journal. Franklin T. Puckett was on the original board of editors. Bro. Puckett died within weeks of the first issue. However, approximately thirty articles were published from his pen; many of which were sermons that were transcribed. A number of other writers contributed many fine articles to the journal.

The material on the CD Rom is fully indexed according to subject and authors. The PDF files offers the advantage of clicking on the subject and going to the issue containing the article. The first page of each issue has the subjects for the issue. One click takes you to the article.

AS A BONUS, this CD also contains two files containing the writings of W. Curtis Porter and Franklin T. Puckett which appeared in the Gospel Guardian over several years.

The CD-Rom contains all of the files in Word Perfect for Windows format as well as the Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format.

Each CD includes instructions on using the search features, etc. of the CD's.
